After I was given birth in Africa, between hippos and bushmen, I moved my way through Indonesia up to Holland. Maastricht is where I landed and started Cultural Science. What did I learn? That Europe is f*cking sophisticated! However there still are a lot of idiots. Brings me to what I like doing: filming students. But I’m not all that ofcourse, something wich you will learn from Cultural Science one day. Cooking should extend my identity. My personal heros: Gummbah, David Attenborough and Penelope Cruz.

Claudia
Hello my name is Claudia. I'm in my last year of European Studies. For STUVI, I make video reports related to Europe and the EU which you can watch on the ZEUS TV channel.

Dariusch
After I finished my highschool diploma I suddenly realized that I was a German. In a desperate attempt to flee from my identity I ended up studying European Studies in Maastricht. Always on guard to make the world a better place I realized how useless studying is for this purpose, I started volunteering for Stuvi in October, with the hope to become Seymour Hersh one day.

Fritz met een Z
He is a Stuvi-veteran: Fritz with a Z. He finished his life as a student, but has trouble saying goodbye to it. Fritz with a Z is, just like Sven Kramer, an allrounder: he hosts, edits, and films. BNN wanted him real bad, but due to the financial crisis they choose some guy named Valerio. You can wake Fritz up during the night for a game of Mikado.

Frouke

Jasper
Yes it is me, the Espresso drinking Jasper. I am in my 2nd year of my Bachelor European Studies. Of course it has always been my dream to stand in front of the camera, and now Stuvi gave me this chance!! My apologies for me talking that freakin' fast sometimes, that's just me i guess! Champagne anyone? See you on Stuvi!

Karolina
Heyyy! I am Karolina, 19 years old & a 1st year student Arts & Culture. I love travelling, Oasis, ice cream, my piano, going out & to the movies, Maastricht & the Eifel, taking baths, Christmas & great books. At stuvi I am doing the news. Keep on watching!

Lisa
Hi! My name is Lisa Snoek, I'm 20 years old and now I'm for about a year part of the Stuvi-team..! It's awesome :) As the most of Stuvi are doing, I'm studying Cultuurwetenschappen (Arts&Culture). In the future I would like to be a journalist or correspondent, so I love doing those activities! Love, Lisa.

Mats
"Mats, 20 years (almost 21!). Is personally responsible for the revival of Buddy Holly's glasses, although we cannot say for sure if that is something to be proud of or not. Yet. Besides the glasses he lacks any kind of musical talent and has therefore dedicated his life to the further integration of Europe and making video-reports about the most insignificant things in life. The next topic on his to-do-list: getting a sandwich named after him at SubWay's."

Nadia
I study Media and Communications at Sydney University, Australia, and am currently on exchange at Maastricht University. I like: music, the way Europeans say my name, second-hand markets, ouzo, jagermeister, snow, 40 degree summer days, super dark chocolate, swings, and making news stories, of course! I dislike: oysters, people who walk slowly in front of me, clichés, being cold, people who essentialise entire social demographics (e.g. ‘the youth of today are like THIS’), and feeling sleepy.
